Deborah is a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. As a board certified Psychiatric -Mental Clinical Nurse Specialist she has been a member of the medical staff at Masonic Health Care Center, The University of Connecticut Health Care Center and the Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital. She has been a Registered Nurse for 43 years and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse for 29 years
Treatment Philosophy
Mood Disorders and Anxiety are medical illnesses. Successful treatment is available. Treatment may involve various types of psychotherapy. It may also involve in the addition of medication which can successfully target symptoms. The word therapy stems for the Latin word for healing; the term nurse stems from the Latin word for care. Psychiatric nurses care for their patients who are suffering; while assisting our patients in the healing process

I specialize in psychopharmacology and psychiatric evaluation, . Genomic testing is also available. This testing eliminates trail and error of medication trails. The focus of my practice is helping those in the work force attain and maintain their health.
Practice Information
Office hours are conducted Tuesdays through Thursdays. All appointments are conducted via telemedicine. Please allow 2 business days (office hour days) for phone calls and emails responses. Do not text to the office phone as it is a land line and cannot receive test messages. You may leave a phone message at 860-408-4846 or email at deborahgreeneaprn @gmail.com . Please note I am in solo practice, I am not always available by phone, and I do not have coverage when I am on vacation. Patients must be seen on a quarterly basis to receive their medication. If the patient cancels or reschedules an appointment, refills will be issued at the time of the next appointment. Patient must have an appointment in order for medication changes. It is my policy that patients must give 48-hour advanced notice of cancellation or need to reschedule. Otherwise, there is a
charge equal to the amount your insurance would have paid.
PLEASE VERFIY YOUR INSURANCE COVERAGE PRIOR TO ALL VISITS. ALL FEES ARE DUE AT THE TIME OF YOUR VISIT.
Deborah accepts Medicare and Cigna. She also accepts out-of- network benefits and provides very reasonable self-pay options.
Please verify your insurance coverage prior to all visits. Applicable fees are due at your appointment. Patients must be seen every three months to receive refills.
